Marge finds herself with a little crush on Moe. And after spending a little time with Moe, the crush grows. She is feeling appreciated by Moe, which is something her family doesn't give her. They attend a movie together and that really irritates Homer, Marge doesn't care, she just sees it as a friendship. Moe brings Marge some flowers, and that crosses the line for Homer. He confronts and threatens Moe about the relationship, but Moe doesn't care. Moe takes Marge dancing and keeps her out late, and that crushes Homer. Soon after Moe proposes to Marge and she accepts, leaving her family, Marge and Moe take a train out of Springfield to begin their new life. Homer is devastated, and commits suicide in front of his kids.
