Behind the Crazy Laughter

After losing his son, Homer decides to go the local orphanage and adopt a child, Hoju. Things all take a turn for the worse when Homer misses Bart and loses his mind.

The story begins with Bart having just recently passed away. Homer is devastated, and slowly goes crazy. He goes over the edge, when he thinks a plastic baby doll is his baby, and thus is institutionalized at the Calmwood Mental Hospital. A few weeks later, Homer calms down is back to normal, he is certified not insane. A year later, Homer's life goes back to normal, and he decides he should adopt a child to get over the passing of Bart. He is granted Homer Junior, or Hoju for short and his happy life begins a new stage. Shortly after, Homer finds he still misses Bart and starts to relapse into his crazy state. He totally loses grip with reality, and Hoju is a burden to him. So he does the unthinkable. He gets rid of the "trash" by burning it at the Springfield Tire Fire. The story ends with Homer playing with a hand-made replica of Bart.
